Howard Moore returned to the driver's seat for the first time in over a month on Saturday night with the short trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.) for the United Sprint Car Series (USCS) event presented by K&N Filters.
Twenty-two racers were on hand for the event, and Howard passed one competitor in his heat race to finish 2nd.
Starting the 30-lap feature in sixth, Howard advanced to a fourth-place finish aboard his Rains Motorsports No. 3 Sprinter.
He followed Derek Hagar, Brad Bowden, and Landon Crawley across the finish line with Jordan Mallett rounding out the Top 5.
