On Saturday, June 23rd, USCS 360 Sprints invaded the high-banked 3/8-mile red-clay oval of Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN for their first visit in twelve seasons!
Hagar, in the 1A sprint car of Jay Hancock, began his night with a 3rd place finish in the Goodyear Speed Dash. Hagar was placed in the fourth starting position of the first heat race where he would finish fourth and acquire enough points to transfer to the 8th starting position for the 30 lap feature.
Track conditions did not allow for much passing throughout the feature. Hagar stated that the track was “dry with very little moisture,” but he was able to gain a few spots as he made his way from 8th to 4th, earning his 8th top 5 USCS finish of the season.
