Inside Line Promotions – PUYALLUP, Wash. (Oct. 18, 2016) – Trey Starks has won 10 races at 10 different tracks this season and he’s hopeful to add another to both totals this weekend during the World Short Track Championships.

Starks and car owner Jeff McCall are heading to The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., for the USCS Series race on Friday and Saturday. The team has earned three victories this season – all with the USCS Series on the East Coast.

“It’d be really cool to get one at The Dirt Track at Charlotte,” Starks said. “It’s a prestigious track and one of the crown jewel tracks along with Knoxville, Eldora, Williams Grove and places like that. It’s an amazing facility. I’m sure we’ll be in front of a bunch of fans. I’d imagine there will be a decent amount of cars trying to do what we are and tune up for the World Finals.”

This weekend will be the first of two straight at the track as Starks and McCall will return to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Bad Boy Off Road World of Outlaws World Finals with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series the following weekend.

“I’d say our goal is to win the race this weekend, but it is also a big help in testing for next week,” he said. “The Dirt Track at Charlotte is a track nobody gets to run on very much except once or twice a year. To get an extra test session, one more time on the track, that’ll help us.”

Starks hasn’t raced since sweeping USCS races on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
