Work commitments will keep Thone Motorsports from racing so Swindell will team back up with A.G. Rains to invade Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., this Friday and Saturday for a USCS Series event.

“I got a call this morning that Thone Motorsports wouldn’t be able to race so we’re going to West Memphis instead,” Swindell said. “It’s a track close for both A.G. and myself so we’re looking forward to it.”

Swindell has earned one win and two runner-up results in three 360ci winged sprint car starts at the oval this season. He has at least one top-five finish at the track during each of the last four years.

“It’s a tight track that can slick off or can stay tacky,” he said. “Usually if we can avoid any crashes we can contend for the win and that’s the goal this weekend.”
