Atlanta, GA - The O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com "Outlaw Thunder" Tour kicks off its' O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 in just three and a half weeks. The seven race series over nine days has in guaranteed prize money of nearly $100,000. Each night's feature race pays at least $2000 to win and with additional posted awards and bonuses one driver may win over $20,000 in prize money during the week of speed. $2100 is guaranteed to those drivers who enter all seven events and then qualify for and start all seven A-Main events. At least $1100 is guaranteed for any driver who enters and makes an honest attempt to race at all seven events even if they fail to qualify for the A-Main at all seven races.
The 2007 O'Reilly USCS Speed Week kicks off on Friday night May 25th at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri as part of the 1st Annual "Malden 100". That event also includes the USCS Open Wheel Modified Series for a USCS double-header. On the following eight nights the O'Reilly USCS cars and stars will visit six more speedways including the historic and recently remodeled Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Saturday, May 26th. After Round #2 at Riverside the tour heads South and East to another newly remodeled state of the art dirt oval track facility on Sunday night, May 27th for Round #3 at the 90 foot wide and 4/10 mile long Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama (near Gadsden). On the following night, Memorial Day Monday, May 28th, the traveling show moves back North into Tennessee and Westward to Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee for Round #4.
After four nights of racing action contested between some of the Nation's top drivers, on Tuesday, May 29th the teamss have a day off to rest, repair equipment and travel the short 92 miles to the next venue, Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee. On Wednesday, May 30th in the afternoon and evening, Clarksville Speedway and the O'Reilly USCS will host a mid-week combined media-day and practice-session event in preparation for the resumption of Speed Week racing action in Round #5 on Thursday night, May 31st around Clarksville Speedway's high-banked ΒΌ mile clay oval. Also included in Wednesday evening's plans at Clarksville Speedway is a Bar-B-Q cookout and post-practice party for the traveling teams.
On Friday June 1st the Speed Week entourage travels just 77 miles to the Southwest to Camden Speedway in Camden, Tennessee for O'Reilly USCS Speed Week Round #6. This race around the high-banked 3/8-mile Camden Speedway clay oval will be the inaugural visit to the track for the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series and they will once again be joined by the USCS Open Wheel Modified Series to create the week's second USCS open wheel double-header. The following night on June 2nd, just as on the first Saturday in June over the past eight seasons, the O'Reilly USCS will visit Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the 9th Annual "Columbus Clash" and the O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 Grand Finale. The high-banked 1/3-mile clay oval known as the "Baddest Bullring in the South" ranks as one of the USCS drivers' favorites. The USCS Open Wheel Modified Series also joins the winged sprint cars at Columbus for the third USCS open wheel double-header of the week.
***Please note: The posted seven-race minimum guaranteed amounts include the accumulated winnings for the week and any points fund awards. USCS will pay any short fall to make up the difference in actual winnings and the posted guarantees. In addition to the guarantees, all of the O'Reilly USCS Speed Week 2007 events will award both O'Reilly USCS National championship points and O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour regional championship points.Drivers must pre-register for Round #1 to be eligible for the guarantees.

USCS FUEL RULES: Fuel will be available at each track during Speed Week 2007. Your fuel must be 100% Methanol/Alcohol ONLY is legal. Fuel will be checked nightly.
USCS TIRE RULES: Hoosier Racing Tires will be available at each track. Legal racing tires for the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series cars are as follows: On the right rear the 105x18"x15" Hoosier Medium or Hard SPEC compound tire that the series has competed on for the last three seasons is legal. Additionally the almost identical 105"x18"x15"/ F-35 compound right rear tire like the one used at East Bay Raceway Park for 360 sprint car monthly events will be legal as well. For the left rear tire any HOOSIER left rear tire is legal. Front tire rule is that the brand and compound of tire on the front two wheels are optional.
USCS WHEELS: Wheels on the right rear can be no wider than 18 inches (18"). Left rear wheels have a maximum legal width of 15 inches (15"). Front wheels maybe no wider than 10 inches (10").
WING RULES: A. Top Wing: 25 square feet Maximum with 2.5" maximum dip measured in front of wickerbill turnup (Maximum 1" wickerbill turnup at rear of top wing). Hydraulic sliders allowed. For safety, the Top Wing may not be mounted so as to extend outside of the left-rear tire. Side panels may be no more than 72" long by 30" tall. B. Front Wing: Maximum 2'x3' (6 square foot) front wing is optional. The leading most point of the front wing, or any other component of the car may not extend past the front bumper. See front bumper rule below. Side panels may be no more than 26" long by 12" on the front wing .
