Dothan, AL - August 28, 2020 - 15-year-old USCS Rookie points leader, Connor Leoffler from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina captured his career-first USCS Outlaw Thunder win at Dothan Motor Speedway on Friday night by passing early race leader, Matt Kurtz from Jacksonville, Florida in lapped traffic with a daring move with three laps to go.

Sprint Car Hall of Famer Danny Smith from Chillicothe, Ohio squirted by Kurtz as well to grab the runner-up spot. Kurtz finished in the final podium spot and his team-mate A.J. Maddox from Tampa, Florida was fourth. Another Floridian, Terry Witherspoon from Jacksonville, rounded out the top five finishers.
