About Kevin

Kevin Swindell continues to chart his own path through the competitive world of motorsports. The son of sprint car racing legend Sammy Swindell, Kevin was raised with a fierce competitive nature that's manifested itself into a diverse career.

Like his father, Kevin has frequented victory lane on dirt tracks across the country, posting his first World of Outlaws win at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway at the age of 17, making him the youngest winner in series history. His 2012 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals Championship was his fourth consecutive, a feat that no other driver has accomplished.

Rather than being content with his dirt success, however, Kevin continued to want more. In 2010, Kevin transitioned to full-time pavement racing, competing in the NASCAR Xfinity (Nationwide) Series, NASCAR K&N Pro Series and ARCA Series. That season, he earned an ARCA Series pole at Rockingham (NC) Speedway as well as two K&N Series poles at Lee (NH) USA Speedway and Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA. He also posted top-five finishes in both K&N and ARCA competition.

Two years later, Kevin earned his first ARCA Series win, starting on the pole and leading every lap at Chicagoland Speedway. That same year, he earned his first top-10 finish in Xfinity (Nationwide) Series competition at Texas Motor Speedway.

In 2013, Kevin earned two more Xfinity (Nationwide) Series top-10 finishes, with a career-high eighth-place finish at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kevin also made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut that season at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

In 2014, Kevin again visited victory lane in ARCA competition. In his only series start while concentrating Xfinity (Nationwide) competition, Swindell charged from an eighth-place start to lead 22 laps and earn his second ARCA Series victory.

Kevin continues to turn heads in both sprint cars and stock cars, on dirt or on pavement. A racer's racer, born to succeed at any level.
